Biography

Lena started her professional career as a lecturer for Further and Higher Education. She moving into education management shortly after qualifying to become one of the youngest managers in the UK of a government funded independent training organisation.

She brings corporate governance skills to the Authority through her time as Governor and Chair of the Board of Southampton City College and in her current trustee roles at Wheatsheaf Trust and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation. She is also a non-executive director at Southampton University Hospital Trust, and a magistrate on the Southampton bench.
