The Local Transport Plan (LTP) sets out the County Council’s transport strategy for the period 2006-2011. The LTP aims to: -
- improve quality of life,
- protect the environment, and
- secure economic prosperity.
In December 2006 the LTP was given an "excellent" rating from central Government.
