Hampshire Police Authority Partnerships
Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs)
(Formerly know as Crime Disorder Reduction Partnerships)
There are statutory partnerships known as Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs) in your area, which are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to tackle crime and disorder including anti-social behaviour and the misuse of drugs that may affect your local environment.
There are:
15 CSPs across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
Hampshire Police Authority is represented on each of the CSPs by a member
At present, responsible authorities are under a statutory duty to ensure that key agencies come together to work in partnership in a Community Safety Partnership using information on Strategic Assessments and Partnership Plans.
The partnership consists of amongst others :
Local Council
Fire & Rescue
Police
Health
Probation

Hampshire Senate
The Hampshire Senate is a voluntary partnership made up of a number of local authorities and organisations. The Police Authority is represented on the Senate by the Chair of the Police Authority.
The Senate's objectives are:
Deliver the Local Area Agreement for Hampshire
Bring people together to keep government as local as possible
Add value to and reduce the costs of public service through working with all public services and partners
Act as a strong united voice for all of Hampshire
Secure extra government funding for our infrastructure needs

Safer Neighbourhood Teams
Safer Neighbourhood Teams can contain:
police officers
police community support officers (PCSOs)
special constables
community volunteers
Their aim is to provide :
A visible, accessible and familiar presence on the streets of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
To engage with you and respond to your needs in the community.
Safer Neighbourhood Teams have a duty to agree local neighbourhood priorities as part of the Policing Pledge with you
