The Annual Report is published each year in June. It demonstrates how the Police Authority and Constabulary have carried out their duties as set out in the local policing plan. It also includes financial information for the previous financial year.

The Authority's Annual Policing Plan 2004/05, first published in March 2004, and Annual Report 2003/04 were published as one updated document in June 2004.
