TERMS OF REFERENCE

1. To consider the monthly Force performance profile relating to the Annual Policing Plan and to report to the Authority on matters arising.

2. To consider and monitor performance indicators from Police Performance Assessment Framework (PPAF) and Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC) baseline assessment and report to the Authority on matters arising.

3. To review performance, including the Data Quality Audit, Protective Services and the implementation of the Authority’s policies in such areas as the Committee might determine (or be required by the Authority to review) and to formulate recommendations for consideration by the Authority for effective performance improvement.

4. To consider reports on the outcome of Best Value reviews and the relevant recommendations.
