Biography

Adrian has been a Liberal Democrat member of Hampshire County Council since 1983. He was chair of Roads & Development from 1993 to 1997 has been Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group since 1997. Adrian was previously a member of Hart District Council from 1980 to 1992 and was Leader of the Council for two years from 1986 to 1988.

Adrian was appointed to the Police Authority by Hampshire County Council in 2000. He has chaired the Finance Committee since 2004, having been vice chair for two years before that.

Adrian has been Vice Chair of the Authority since 2007 and represents the Authority on the national Association of Police Authorities.
