The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) is responsible for funding and planning further education and vocational training in England. With the exception of higher education, the LSC responsibility covers all areas of adult (over 16) learning. With employers, the LSCs aim is to help them build a workforce skilled enough to rank among the best in the world. The new Train to Gain service is designed to help small and medium sized organisations get the training they need to succeed.
